ABOUT
DR. CHAIM SZACHTEL 

Chaim Szachtel, MD completed his BA at Yeshiva University in New York City and his medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (AECOM) before going on to a residency in Psychiatry at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. Dr. Szachtel is currently completing his fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Zucker Hillside Hospital of Northwell Health, where he also serves as the co-chief fellow for the program.

Dr. Szachtel has presented his clinical research at several national conferences including the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) and American Association of Directors of Psychiatric Residency Training (AADPRT). Dr. Szachtel has received awards from AECOM, Montefiore Medical Center and from AACAP.
